What area do you cover?


MBS operates in the South West and South East of England but has nationwide coverage through out partners.




Are expenses included in your charges?


Expenses are typically included in the fees quoted, except for the cost of providing off-site training or workshop facilities. The only other exception would be if the work demanded a particular specialist's skills and there was a long distance between them and the client. However, all expenses would be discussed and agreed before any work commences.




What industries do you specialise in?


Our experts have a broad depth of knowledge and experience across a multitude of Industries across manufacturing, retail, distribution, service, and online businesses.




Are you able to assist with grant searches and funding?


Yes, we have access to a wide range of resources to identify any potential grants and can assist clients with the application process. We can also facilitate R&D Tax claims and other business incentives.




What time demands will be expected of me or my team?


Our approach is about creating a partnership with our clients. This does require input from both parties. However, we always look to work around you, we do not require you to spend extortionate amounts of time collecting data unless there was a very good reason for it and we save clients time overall by helping them break down barriers and move forward effectively and efficiently.




Will I be tied into a contract?


We do not believe in tying clients into long contracts, instead we know they will stick with us when we are adding value to their business. Thus, we only look to sign clients up for as long as they want to or for the period necessary to complete the project.




What happens if I need to cancel a contract?


We understand that the needs of businesses change rapidly. If you need to cancel any work that you have contracted us to undertake, we will seek to minimise any costs for cancellation. However, there may be some costs which cannot be recovered, especially if given late notice.




What return on investment (ROI) should I expect?


This is a difficult question to answer as it depends upon the project scope, what you are looking to achieve and how you measure ROI, because it is often difficult to compare against how you would have performed otherwise. A project that addresses risk, may have a low ROI but may also prevent a large fine or worse and significant reputational damage. A project to grow a company in order to sell it will have a high ROI because of the increase in profits and the increase in sale value. Once we know what you are looking for we will be able to give you more guidance on this.




Can you advise on finance options?


Yes, we have experience of all forms of financing a business and can discuss your preferences and then advise which options might suit you best, and provide suggestions of where you could go to for it.




Why should I use you rather than do this myself or seek free advice from a local business support organisation?


There is plenty of free resources out there, and it is up to you if you prefer to sift through these and implement changes yourself. However, in our experience Business Owners do not have the time and this approach often results in missing vital ingredients, especially if it is an area which they are less confident about or have little experience. Having an expert advisor "looking in" also adds a new dimension, and many clients report that they benefit from accountability for the goals that they set. Business support organisations can work well in certain cases but the support tends to be very limited and so run a high risk of losing all momentum once it runs out.
